Hi, I’m June Sweat. I live in Rome, Ga and am originally from Cedartown. Most importantly, I’m Jewell’s Momma. I now work in advocacy for Stomach Cancer because my amazing daughter was diagnosed with it in 2020 at the age of 16. It’s a rare cancer to begin with but extremely rare in children. By the time they caught it she was stage 4 and fought so hard along with all of her healthcare team to keep her alive and comfortable. She sadly passed away in December of 2020. She was my only child and now I’m putting all my efforts into bringing Awareness, Funding, Research, Trials & Treatments for these very underserved patients.
